Property Standards

Many so called “student properties” that are available are of differing standards. We don’t believe that just because you are a student you have to reside in a sub-standard property; that is why we try to ensure that all of our student accommodation comes with a professional quality finish.

Accommodation

Most students when choosing a property try to find the unique balance of being within close proximity to their University as well as having easy access to the City Centre. This in-turn has increased the number of students living in areas such as Roath, Cathays and Heath.

Which Area Will Suit You Best

Many students studying at UWIC tend to reside in Roath close to Albany Road as they have the benefit of using the UWIC Rider as a method of transport to the various campuses as well as having access to both Roath Park and the beautiful Roath Lake.

Cardiff University students on the other hand seem to prefer living in and around Cathays as it is situated half way between both the main campus on Park Place and also the University Hospital.

Nightlife

Within the aforementioned student area’s you can find cheap drinks and good atmosphere in establishments such as The George (Roath), Gassy Jacks (Cathays), and The Heath before making the short journey into the City Centre. Once in the City Centre you have a choice from an assortment of night clubs like Oceana, TigerTiger and Revolution. If clubbing is not your scene why not try one of the late night bars like Edwards, Buffalo and 10 feet tall
