The current housing market in Cardiff is as strong as it has ever been and we have seen unprecedented growth in the last 12 months across the city and the key areas we cover. We take an analytical approach to property value and constantly keep track of the postcode values in our area and those of counter parts over the bridge (Bristol, Bath etc).

Cardiff has seen impressive growth across the last 12 months in both Sales and Rental values. There have been in excess of 6,859 properties sold (which is up 3.2% on last year) with 83.7% of them being houses. Across all territories the average property sales value is up 6.9% in the last 12 months and 28.2% in the last 5 years. Lettings is equally as promising with rental values on average up 7.8% in the last 12 months (Source – ONS: Dataloft).
